About Mrs. Murdoch
I have been teaching at Westlane off and on for 9 years. I actually did my student teaching here! So we have something in common, we were both students here at Westlane. On a personal note, I have two daughters and have lived in the Niagara Region for most of my life. I really, really enjoy teaching history and the social sciences because it allows us to look at and explore the human spirit. I look forward to an exciting year of Canadian and World Studies.

How this web site works
This semester I will be using Schoology to upload assignments, video links, upcoming work, presentations etc. You will have no excuses for missed work or assignments. Visit http://www.schoology.com and use the access code printed on your course outline to get started.
Need extra help?
The best time to get help or clarification is before school in room 211 (I am a morning person so my brian works best at this time anyway). I have an open door policy. If this is not a good time for you, please let me know and we can arrange to meet at a different time throughout the day.
