We can always use cereal boxes and wrapping/wall paper for making books.
Scholastic Orders- Scholastic Book Orders will be given out on a regular basis. You are welcome to order if you wish. Students will usually receive the Lucky, Arrow, Click, and TRC (Teen Reader's Club) book order forms. Occasionally there are specials and French catalogues as well. The TRC is relatively new (I think it started last year). I have included this option to give students a wider range of reading material, levels and to perhaps share with older siblings. Please be aware though, that not all of the selections in this catalgue are necessarily age appropriate for this class. While these titles do have merit, they are marked with an HS to indicate they are directed at high school readers because of content or language. If you have any questions about Scholastic please let me know. Thanks for your support. As a result we get to add books to our class library. Happy reading! |
A reminder that we are also trying to read 100 books by Jan so Scholastic will donate books to others on our behalf.
