Welcome back to school!
This year I am looking forward to getting to know the students, their families and the Queen Mary family!
Teaching must begin with making your child feel at home in the classroom, and with helping all children come together into a community made up of individuals each with his or her own learning style and interests, history and hopes. 7-1 is like a team....our homeroom is our homecourt. Making everyone feel safe, comfortable and welcome in our classroom is our number one priority.
Getting to know parents is important when trying to make sure that students feel good when they are at school. There are many ways I would like to keep the lines of communication open...
- student agendas – every student will have an agenda that we will write important information in daily. Please write any notes, questions, etc. in this agenda and I will be sure to respond as soon as possible.
