The goal of the Elementary Science & Technology Program developed by the District School Board of Niagara is to provide students with the opportunity to use a hands on approach to exploring technology in a safe and positive environment. This website was designed to inform students, parents, teachers and administrators about our unique program and skills challenges as well as provide links to many other tremendous programs offered by DSBN Technology.

Changes in Technology
Technology today not only includes the traditional wood shop but it also incorporates a new “High Tech” focus. The purpose of the program is to expose our students to subjects such as, computerized drafting, robotics, communication technology and engineering.
The New Direction
North America is currently experiencing a shortage of skilled trades people. Science and Technology class presents the students with the skills and technical education necessary for the pursuit of further education in these areas. The ultimate goal of the Science & Technology program is to provide the students with the ability to make informed career choices, opportunities for success and transferable skills in an increasingly technological world.
