ONLINE TUTORIALS
"Research It Right" - choose a good topic, use academic information sources, think critically about the information and remember to reference these sources.
"Searching with Success!" - learn some web definitions, web terminology and web search tools and techniques.
"Credible Sources Count!" - learn to be critical of information found on the web and to determine credible web sources.
"Plagiarism" - start research early, incorporate informaton using quotations or paraphrases and know how to cite information using citation styles like MLA and APA.

WordPerfect software has been discontinued and removed from the computers in the DSBN schools. It has been replaced with OpenOffice for student assignments. Students should download and install OpenOffice.org3.3 on the computers in their homes.
